G.'s garden puts me to shame...

the best I can do is lounge in the screened porch and... cheer him along! (while he is working in the the hot and humid southern summer...) D.

I'm just wondering if we should have taken our privacy as a given or not -- I suppose somebody could have hidden behind the trees and gotten front seats at our private life... (there is a pine forrest in the back of the house -- I love the view and would hate to have to block it...)

guess what I wanted for Valentine's?

we ended-up cancelling the reservation for the 4 star French restaurant and went... rolling down the hill... (there has been a nice blanket of snow for a couple of weeks now) ... with the neighbourhood kids! we just drove by and I remembered having loads of fun doing that when I was a kid... and I knew this was the ONLY time I could talk G. into doing this! we are moving down South in a month or so (he had a suffering look on his face... but couldn't say "no" -- not today...)
