one of a kind desk...

I'm glad I didn't buy that huge leather top desk for G. back in OH -- found a really nice one in an antiques store and I was tempted... But he's building a one of a kind! (he's applying ideas such as the lazy Susan to a desk??? -- makes a big desk much more accessible and functional than I thought could be... really cool!) I *love* G.! D.

Will be going to a drive-in theater!

crude or not... that's one experience I haven't had... so...we are going to remedy that:)... D.

Southern Christmas

probably the most christmassy thing I'll see this year... (one of the few non-pine trees out back) D.

people were just talking and one of them referred to G. as "an encyclopedia of knowledge," to which one of the females said:"I *love* G.!" -- she's a really nice ebullient girl so that's probably all there was to it but (G. told me) everybody stopped talking...

I love the place! and G. hates... well, maybe he doesn't really hate it -- he is just bored by it!

P.P.S. Oh, well, I get to enjoy it on my own! I feel like a kid forgotten in the toy store... Ahh... the view from the ocean terrace at the Breakers! (the ocean coming right at you in shades of dark blue and turquoise and bubbly white... should have taken a picture... next time!) D.
