what's ok to do afterwards?
I, for one, need a nap (if everything went well). Of course, I've heard women complaining their male partners just roll over and start snoring... So I had to wonder if I was a female offender of this sort. But G. says no: "actually, it's pretty good feedback -- let's me know I did a good job" great... D.

it's not like he's not giving me choices...
MORE: things I find difficult to accept (and I really don't accept) -- that's why I'm saying I'm not taking this stuff seriously:
Mark Pesce (0. 46 time mark): " and then I said... well... this appears to be the case, it was confirmed to me internaly in a way I couldn't particularly argue with, I could not argue out of, it was simply a foundational fact"[my emphasis]--> really? I call this wishful thinking:)... and I can usually overcome it... D.
STILL MORE: what would I want them to show? well... just to back-up their claims: if intuition just tells them things... those things should be scientifically testable! mind creates reality? then... go ahead and create reality with your mind in a very palpable way! --> then we'd be seriously talking (not before...)... but there is no need for these ideas to be "true" (to have any actual bearing on reality), they are nonetheless interesting and entertaining... D.
EVEN MORE: up early... but not because of loud music (just couldn't sleep...) D.
MORE: what was I doing up late? listening to this (Mark Pesce turns out to be a much more interesting guy than that article would suggest... not that I agree with the stuff, just like I don't agree with McKeena on those things -- unless somebody shows, not just says... -- but it's certainly interesting...); alright I better go to bed now -- hopefully I get to sleep in tomorrow:) but I can't count on it... D.

G. :"Are you coming to bed, D., or do you want loud music to wake you up bright and early in the morning?"

I can't wink with my right eye
(never could - appearently it's in our DNA )
G. thinks it's hillarious when I try... (If I use this in the new-and-improved School of Athens, it's going to be an inside joke) D.

what to do about annoying mail...
G.'s taken to tearing-up unsolicited stuff we are sent (most of the time it doesn't even have our names on it, we didn't update our address with the post office, for instance -- believe it or not they sell your address to advertiers if you do that, now we are just "postal customers" --> what's wrong with these people?) placing it in the prepaid enclosed envelope and sending back some unwanted mail! give them a taste of their own obnoxiousness...
Delia
P.S. he actually has a big smile on his face when he's doing that...:) (at my suggestion he is going to put a smiley face on the stuff also...) D.

what do I like about Palm Beach...
MORE: done with the book... not bad but I was disappointed that although he praised his wife a lot, he ended-up giving her no formal credit (if the best writing and a lot of others things were really hers, why isn't she the co-author of the book?) D.
all that debauchery going on, especially at night... kidding, kidding:)... just the natural beauty, NOT the circus culture the place has apparently spawned (I'm half way through Ronald Kessler's book and it made me realize I NEED to tell people what I love about the place or I will be really misunderstood).
Delia
P.S. intellectually, the place could really use someone like Terrence McKeena... as to all that "culture" that's supposed to be going on... aside from the Opera, pretty much everything else sounds like meaningless fluff... D.

Thank God I'm not flat chested!
I took a spill! on a cement platform: it was dark and that step really shouldn't have been there... anyways, my boob provided very effective cushioning (didn't turn out to be anywhere as bad as I would have thought:I scraped my knee and my palm but that was it... the boob is fine, not a scratch; this must be a real hazard for those with "enhancements" -- would have probably required medical attention) D.
