I figured all I needed to do is pick up the right book and we can start our own private "book club". I was pleasantly surprised that the local library actually went out and bought a copy of the book I had in mind, at my suggestion (thanks "Friends of the library!"): Einstein's mistakes (which is supposed to give a good idea of th state of physics today, as well as go over things Einstein didn't quite get right... according to what people believe today -- tomorrow might be a completely different story...)
